Polygon Mania: Rays of Hope

We were on our way to Pathirippala (Near Ottappalam, Kerala) from Ernakulam. 45 minutes into the journey we stopped near a hotel for breakfast. Since it was the National Highways, a lot of trucks pass by. The day had not dawned for some that were parked in the truck bay.

Blue

Solitary Companion

The night was upon me when I reached Indianoor, a little village near Kottakkal, Kerala. I got down in front of the Indianoor temple and decided to walk to Chitta's home. There was a dampness in the air and frogs were croaking. Monsoon Music!! Rain had stopped, for now. But the sky was overcast, I could tell from the absence of stars. My only light source, the solitary moon, shone feebly among the clouds making difficult to walk in that darkness and potholes in the road, now filled with muddy water, added to my woes.

But i enjoyed that little walk. Refreshing and peaceful it was, at the end of another hectic day.

Broken Light

Sunday. I was walking from the temple nearby. There is big stone lamp in front of the temple. Recently one section of the lamp gave in to the forces of nature and broke down. So the temple authorities had it replaced with a shiny new piece. Abandoned broken pieces now lie near the old banyan tree. Once beholder of divine light, now merely broken stone.

Red Sun

The sun was shining red.

The Ocean was growing big,

ready to swallow the setting sun

Red, Blue and all the hues in between..
